Bradden, Northamptonshire

Description
Bradden, a village and a parish, Northamptonshire, on the river Tove, 1 1/2 mile NE of Wappenham station, Northampton and Banbury Junction railway, 4 miles W of Towcester, and 7 SW by W of Blisworth. Post town, Towcester, which is the money order and telegraph office. Acreage of parisli, 1035 ; population, 117. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough; gross value, £210 with residence. The church, which was rebuilt in 1859, is a building of stone in the Early English and Decorated styles. Bishop Van Mildert, the last of the prince-bishops of Durham, was for some time-rector.
