Arthingworth, a village and a parish in Northamptonshire, on an affluent of the river Nen, 1 mile NE of Kelmarsh station on the L. & N.W.R., and 5 miles S by E of Market-Harborough. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough ; net yearly value, £290. The church is of stone, and has a fine western tower. The soil is chiefly clay, and makes good bricks.
