Description
Wighton, a parish, with a village, in Norfolk, 2 miles N by E of Walsingham station on the G.E.R. It has a post office under Walsingham; money order and telegraph office, Walsingham. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Norwich. The church is a large edifice in the Perpendicular style, and has been restored. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
