Description
Waxham, a parish in Norfolk, on the coast, 11 miles ESE of North Walsham, and 5 from Stalham station on the Midland and Great Northern Joint railway. Post town, Stalham, under Norwich. Acreage, 1810; population of the civil parish, 111; of the ecclesiastical, with Palling, 508. The living is a rectory, united with Palling, in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £270 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone and flint.
