Description
Watlington, a parish, with a village, in Norfolk, with a station called Magdalen Road on the G.E.R., 6 miles S by W of Lynn. It has a post office under Downham; money order and telegraph office, Wiggenhall St Germans. Acreage, 1692; population, 579. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £400 with residence. The church is a building of rubble in the Perpendicular style. There are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels.
