Walpole St Andrew, a parish in Norfolk, with a village and Cross Keys hamlet, and Walpole railway station, 8 1/2 miles W by S of Lynn. It has a post and money order office under Wisbech; telegraph office at the railway station. Acreage, 2797; population of the civil parish, 602; of the ecclesiastical, 646. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; gross value, £1160 with residence. The church is a spacious edifice of brick and stone in the Perpendicular style. There are a Primitive Methodist chapel, three almshouses, and a mission church.
