Description
Walcott, a parish in Norfolk, on the coast, 5 miles E by N of North Walsham station on the G.E.R. It has a post office under Stalham; money order office, Happisburgh; telegraph office, Bacton. Acreage, 692; population of the civil parish, 104; of the ecclesiastical, with Happisburgh, £21. The living is a vicarage, annexed to Happisburgh, in the diocese of Norwich. The church is an ancient building of flint in the Perpendicular style, and has been restored.
