Description
Seething, a parish, with a pleasant village, in Norfolk, 5 1/2 miles N by W of Bungay station on the Waveney Valley section of the G.E.R., and 9 S from Norwich. It has a post office under Norwich; money order office, Brooke; telegraph office, Loddon. Acreage, 1675; population, 358. The manor belongs to Viscount Canterbury. The living is a vicarage annexed to that of Mnndham, in the diocese of Norwich; joint gross value, £200 with residence. Patron, Norwich Hospital. The church is a small but ancient edifice of flint and stone in the Norman style, having a thatched nave and a round western tower.
