Description
Plumstead, Little, a parish, with a village, in Norfolk,. 2 1/2 miles S from Salhouse station on the G.E.R., and 5 E. by N of Norwich. Post town, Norwich; money order and telegraph office, Blofield. Acreage, 1399; population, 355. There is a parish council which consists of eight members. Plumstead Hall is a chief residence standing ia a park of about 90 acres. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £336 with residence. The church is a. neat and good building of flint in the Perpendicular style, has a round ivy-clad tower and an E window, and contains. several monuments. There are brick and tile works.
