Langford, Norfolk

Description
Langford, a village and a parish in Norfolk, on the river Wissey, 3 miles NE of Mundford, and 7y NE by N of Bran-don station on the G.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Mundford (R.S.O.) Acreage of the civil parish, 1413; population, 44; of the ecclesiastical, with Ick-burgh, 225. The living is a rectory, united with the rectory of Ickburgh, in the diocese of Norwich; joint net value, £180. The church, a building of stone in the Early English style, was restored in 1888. It contains a monument to Sir Jacob Garrard.
