Illington, a village and a parish in Norfolk. 1 1/2 mile E from Wretham station on the G.E.R., and 4 miles NW from East Harling. Post town, Thetford; money order and telegraph office, East Wretham. Acreage, 1295; population, 78. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net yearly value,, £110. The church is a small building of flint in the Early English and Perpendicular styles. It was restored in 1887.
