Corpusty, a village and a parish in Norfolk, on the river Bure, with a station on the Eastern and Midland railway, 6 miles NW of Aylsham. Post town, Norwich; money order office, Saxthorpe; telegraph office at the railway station. Acreage, 1027; population, 384. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich ; value, £55. The church, which is a small building of flint in the Perpendicular style, has a square tower. A considerable sum has been spent during the last few years in the restoration and embellishment of the church. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
