Description
Colney, a parish in Norfolk, on the river Tare, 3 miles W of Norwich, and 2^ from Hellesdon station on the Eastern and Midland Railway. It has a post office under Norwich; money order and telegraph office, Eaton. Acreage, 950; population, 117. Colney Hall is the chief residence. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net yearly value, £ei85 with residence. The church, which is a small building of flint, has a round tower, and is good.
