Clenchwarton, a village and a parish in Norfolk, on the Ouse new estuary and the Midland and Great Northern Junction railway, on which there is a station, 3 miles W of Lynn. There is a post office under King's Lynn; money order office, West Lynn; telegraph office, Lynn. Acreage, 2950; population, 608. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich ; gross yearly value, £442. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Perpendicular style. There are Methodist New Connexion, and Primitive Methodist chapels.
