Description
Whitton, a parish in Lincolnshire, on the Humber, 8 miles from Frodingham station on the M.S. & L.R. Post town, Doncaster. Acreage, 1369; population of the civil parish, 257; of the ecclesiastical, with Alkborough, 684. The living is a vicarage, annexed to Alkborough. The church is a building of stone, rebuilt in 1893-94.
