Tupholme, Lincolnshire

Description
Tupholme, a hamlet in Bardney parish, Lincolnshire, 2 miles S of Bardney station on the G.N.R., and 7 1/2 W of Horncastle. A priory, an offshoot of Bardney Abbey, was founded here in the time of Henry II. by A. and G. De Nevill, was given at the dissolution to Sir T. Heneage, and has left some picturesque ruins.
