Description
Cawthorpe, Little, a parish in Lincolnshire, 3/4 mile WSW of Legbourne station on the G.N.R., and 3 1/2 SSE of Louth, which is the post town and money order and telegraph office. Acreage, 471; population, 146. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; gross yearly value, £84 with residence, in the gift of the Bishop. The church was built in 1860, and is a structure of light-coloured bricks, striped with lines of black. There is a Free Methodist chapel.
