Haceby, Lincolnshire

Haceby, a parish in Lincolnshire, 3 1/2 miles NW of Falk-ingham, and 6 1/2 W from Billingborough station on the G.N.R. Post town, Falkingham; money order and telegraph office, Osbournby. Acreage, 733; population, 73. Sir W. E. Welby-Gregory, Bart., D.L., J.P., is lord of the manor and chief landowner. Vestiges of Roman buildings were found in 1818. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Newton, in the diocese of Lincoln; gross value, £150 with residence. The church has a tower, and was partially restored in 1890.
