Dorrington, a parish in Lincolnshire, 5 1/2 miles N from Sleaford town, and 1 1/2 mile N from Ruskington station on the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint railway. It has a post office under Lincoln; money order and telegraph office, Ruskington. Acreage, 1978; population, 366. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln ; value, c£120. Patron, the Earl of Ancaster. The church is ancient, and has Early Norman windows. There are two Wesleyan chapels.
