Donington-Upon-Baine, a parish in Lincolnshire, on the river Baine, 6 1/4 miles SW from Louth, with a station on the Louth and Lincoln branch of the G.N.R. It has a post and money order office, of the name of Donington-on-Baine, under Lincoln ; telegraph office at railway station. Acreage, 1801; population, 432. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; value, £235 with residence. The church is a building of stone in the Early English style. There are Baptist, "Wesleyan, Primitive Methodist, and Free Methodist chapels.
