Cuxwold, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, 3 1/2 miles E of Caistor and 6 NE from Holton and Moortown stations on the M.S. & L.R. Post town, Caistor; money order and telegraph office, Caistor. Acreage, 1590; population, 111. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net yearly value, £179 with residence. The church is small but ancient and interesting. Cuxwold Hall is the seat of the Thorold. family.
