Cumberworth, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, 1 1/2 mile fromMumby Road station on the G.N.R., and 3 1/4 SE of" Alford. Post town, Huttoft (R.S.O.); money order office, Hogsthorpe; telegraph office, Mumby Road station. Acreage, 1274; population, 193. The living is a rectory annexed to the rectory of Anderby, in the diocese of Lincoln; joint value, £500. Patron, Magdalene College, Cambridge. The church is a building of brick and stone in the Decorated style, and there are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels.
