Description
Culverthorpe, a township and a chapelry in Heydour parish, Lincolnshire, 3 1/2 miles SE by S of Ancaster station on the G.N.B., and 5 SW of Sleaford, and 2 of Ranceby. Post town, Grantham. Acreage, 899; population, 77. Culverthorpe Hall is a chief residence. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Heydour, in the diocese of Lincoln.
