Description
Frowlesworth, a village and a parish in Leicestershire, near the river Soar, the M.R., and the Fosse Way, 2 miles SSW of Broughton Astley railway station, and 5 NNW of Lutterworth, with a post office under Lutterworth; money order office, Ullesthorpe; telegraph office, Ullesthorpe (R.S.) Acreage, 1515; population, 201. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough; net yearly value, £307 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Perpendicular and Decorated styles. Chief Baron Smith's almshouses have an income of £648 yearly.
