The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Manchester; net value, £294 with residence. Patrons, Hyndman's Trustees. The church is in the Early English style, and consists of chancel, nave, N aisle, and low western tower. There are a Roman Catholic chapel, a Friends' meetinghouse, and endowed schools.
