Description
Ightenhill Park, a small township in Whalley parish, Lancashire, on the river Calder, 2 miles NW of Burnley, in which the greater part of the township is included under the Burnley Corporation Act, 1889. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Burnley. Acreage, 760; population, 519. The manor belongs to the Duke of Buccleuch. Coal and stone of a superior quality abound.
