Habergham Eaves, a township in Whalley civil parish, Lancashire. The township is suburban to Burnley, and since 1889 the greater portion of it has been included in the borough of Burnley. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office (T.S.O.) under Burnley. Acreage, 4217; population, 46, 930, of which 46, 529 are in the borough of Burnley. Coal is largely worked. The manor belongs to the Duke of Buccleuch* There are three ecclesiastical parishes in this township, viz.-Holy Trinity, All Saints, and St Matthew's, with populations of 15, 890, 6558, and 5398 respectively. The livings are vicarages in the diocese of Manchester; values, £400 net with residence, £200 gross, and £300 net, with residence, respectively. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
