Description
Farnborough, a village and a parish in Kent. The village is 1 mile from Orpington station on the S.E.R., and 4 1/4miles SE by S of Bromley. It has a head post office (R.S.O.) The parish comprises 1627 acres; population, 1627. The Jiving is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury; net value, £203. The church was built in the 13th century, and is good.
