Wallington, a village and a parish in Herts, 3 miles E by S of Baldock and Ashwell stations on the Hitchin and Cambridge branch of the G.N.R., and 7 NW of Buntingford. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Baldock. Acreage, 2043; population, 133. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Albans; net value, £208. Patron, Emmanuel College, Cambridge. The church is an ancient building of flint in the Decorated style, consisting of chancel (rebuilt), nave, N aisle, S porch, and an embattled western tower.
