Weston Beggard, a parish, with a village, in Herefordshire, 2 miles W by S of Stoke Edith station on the G.W.R., and 5 1/4 E by N of Hereford. Post town, Hereford; money order office, Tarrington; telegraph office, Bartistree. Acreage, 925; population, 314. There is a parish council of five members and a chairman. Bricks, tiles, and drainpipes are manufactured. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £119 with residence. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Hereford. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1881.
