Description
Stoke Lacy, a parish, with a village, in Herefordshire, 4 miles SW by S of Bromyard. It has a post office under Worcester; money order office, Bromyard; telegraph office, Burley Gate. Acreage, 2584; population of the civil parish, 321; of the ecclesiastical, 292. There is a parish council consisting of five members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £178 with residence. The church has a Norman chancel arch, and was restored in 1863.
