Description
Llanveynoe, a township and a chapelry in Clodock parish, Herefordshire, on the Olchon an affluent of the river Mon-now, under the Black Mountains, at the boundary with Monmouthshire and Brecknockshire, 6 miles NNW of Pandy station on the G.W.R., and 9 SSE of Hay. Post town, Longtown, under Abergavenny; money order office, Long-town ; telegraph office, Pontrilas. Acreage, 4610; population, 191. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Hereford. Patron, the Vicar of Clodock. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1877.
