Description
Docklow, a village and a parish in Herefordshire, on an affluent of the river Wye, 1 1/2 mile E of Steens Bridge station on the G.W.R., and 5 miles E by S of Leominster, with a post office under Leominster; money order and telegraph office, Bredenbury. Acreage, 1285 ; population, 169. Buckland and Oaklands are the chief residences. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the vicarage of Stoke-Prior in the diocese of Hereford; joint net value, £200 with residence. Patron, the Vicar of Leominster. The church is old and was almost entirely rebuilt in 1880.
