Cradley, a village, a township, and a parish in Herefordshire, under the Malvern Hills, at the boundary with Worcestershire, 4 miles N of Colwall station on the G.W.R., and 8 SE of Bromyard. There is a post office under Malvern; money order office, Stifford's Bridge; telegraph office, West Malvern. The parish includes the ecclesiastical parish of Storridge, and parts of those of West Malvern and Cowleigh. Acreage, 6075; population of the civil parish, 1746; of the ecclesiastical, 886. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £482 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Hereford. The parish church was restored in 1870.
