Aston-Ingham, a village and a parish in Herefordshire, on the verge of the county, 2 miles N by E of Mitcheldean Road station on the G.W.R., 3 of Newent station on the G.W.R., and 5 E of Ross, which is the post town; money order office, Kilcote, 1 mile S; telegraph office, Newent, 3 miles NE. Acreage, 2366 ; population, 460. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; gross value, £450. The church is ancient, partly Norman, of the 12th century. It was restored and nearly rebuilt in 1891 at a cost of over £1700.
