Rockhampton, a village and a parish in Gloucestershire, 2 1/4 miles NNE of Thombury, with a post office under Falfield (S.O.); money order and telegraph office, Falfield. Acreage of the civil parish, 972; population, 149; of the ecclesiastical, 195. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; gross value, £289 with residence. The church was restored in 1872.
