Coln St Denis, a parish in Gloucestershire, on the river Colne, near the Fosse Way, 3 miles SSW of Northleach, and 8 NE of Cirencester. Post town, Northleach (R.S.O.) It includes the hamlet of Calcot. Acreage, 1789; population, 200. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £243 with residence. Patron, Pembroke College, Oxford. The church is Norman, and was restored in 1892.
