Ferring, a parish in Sussex, on the coast, 1 miTe 'W of Goring station on the L.B. & S.C.R., and 3 1/2 miles W of Worthing. It has a post and money order office under "Worthing; telegraph office, Goring. Acreage, 948; population of the civil parish, 226 ;of the ecclesiastical, with Kingston, near Worthing, and East Preston, 686.
