The church of St. Andrew is a small and plain building of stone and brick in the Early English style, consisting of apsidal nave and a turret containing one bell: the church was wholly rebuilt and repewed by Archbishop Wake (1716-1737): there are 35 sittings.
The marriage register dates from the year 1802; baptisms, 1803; burials, 1812.
