Description
Satterleigh, a parish in Devonshire, on the river Mole, 5 miles from Umberleigh station on the L. & S.W.R. Post town, South Molton. Acreage, 522; population of the civil parish, 45; of the ecclesiastical, 281. The living is a rectory, annexed to that of Warkleigh, in the diocese of Exeter; net value, £270 with residence. The church is a small and ancient building of stone in the Early English style.
