Description
Eyam Woodlands, a township in Eyam parish, Derbyshire, 2 miles NE of Eyam, and near Hassop station on the M.R. Post, money order, and telegraph office, Eyam, under Sheffield. The township comprises Grindleford Bridge. Acreage, 1026 ; population, 266. The Duke of Devonshire is lord of the manor. Divine service is conducted in the schoolroom at Grindleford Bridge, and there is also a Reformed Wesleyan chapel. See EYAM.
