Description
Threapwood, a parish in Cheshire and Flintshire, 8 miles W by S of Malpas. Post town, Malpas. Acreage, 248; population, 306. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. Bricks and tiles are made. The parish is noted for its cottage gardens and fruit trees. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St Asaph; net value, £72 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Chester. The church was erected in 1815. There is a Congregational chapel.
