Description
Spurstow, a township in Bunbury parish, Cheshire, 4 miles SE of Tarporley. It has a post office under Tarporley; money order and telegraph office, Bunbury. Acreage, 1832; population, 412. The manor belongs to Lord Crewe. Spurstow Hall, Lower Spurstow Hall, and Oaklands are chief residences. There are a Primitive Methodist chapel and a medicinal spring.
