Description
Oakmere, a township in Delamere parish, Cheshire, 4 1/2 miles N by E of Tarporley. Petty sessions are held at the court-house. Acreage, 2962 ; population, 387. Most of the land was formerly part of Delamere Forest, and belongs to the Crown.
