Halton, a parish in Bucks, on the Wendover Canal, 1 1/2 mile NE from Wendover, and 5 from Tring. Nearest railway stations, Tring, Aylesbury, and Wendover. It has a post office under Tring; money order and telegraph office, Wendover. Acreage, 1456; population, 226. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford; gross yearly value, £240. The church, a small building of stone in the Early English style, was well restored in 1887.
