Description
Sunningwell, a parish in Berks, bounded on the E by the Thames, 3 miles N of Abingdon,and 2 1/2 NW from Radley station on the G.W.R. It has a post and telegraph office under Abingdon; money order office, Abingdon. Acreage, 1331; population, 243. The living is a rectory iu the diocese of Oxford; gross value, £315 with residence. The church is a building of stone consisting of chancel, nave, W porch, and an embattled pinnacled tower.
